Most of the general public experiences the symptoms of hypertension at some point in their lives rather it be high blood pressure or lower blood pressure but it may not go into a serious condition, but if it is not checked on and given a diagnosis by a doctor, then it could very well be much more serious. There are several symptoms of hypertension that will not definitely tell you that you have hypertension, but they are warning signs that you need to go to the doctor as least to see what the problem is. It could be basically nothing but it would be good to catch a problem early on so that it can be treated.

There are several symptoms of hypertension such as headaches especially if they come frequently in the mornings. People have also experienced being tired and have also been confused for no apparent reason. There is also vision problems that can be caused by hypertension. If you are reading a book and the pages get blurry or doubled but you have good eyesight, this could be a warning sign.

Having frequent chest pains are also symptoms of hypertension. You may not think of it as hypertension because there are people who eat a lot of foods that cause flatulence and they may warrant their chest pains to gas. There are people who smoke and may say that is the excuse but it is still a warning sign no matter what your lifestyle. Checking your own blood pressure with equipment that you can buy so that you can use a stethoscope and meter gauge to get a reading of your blood pressure, then you can track and report to your doctor what it has been.

Another warning sign that you may have symptoms of hypertension are difficulty breathing and irregular heartbeat. When you are relaxed such as when you lay down to go to sleep, you can feel your heartbeat a lot easier than if you up doing something. If that heartbeat just doesn't seem like it is beating correctly, then you should make an appointment with your doctor. You should definitely see your doctor if you are having trouble breathing because if the problem is not hypertension, then you could be coming up to the tail end of something more serious.

Blood in the urine is also one of the symptoms of hypertension. If you ignore the trouble signs and just keep continuing to do the things that you do, the problem could go into a much bigger problem such as more severe eye problems, kidney failure, heart disease, and stroke. These are just the major problems that could occur if the symptoms of hypertension are not taken seriously.

There are many other factors that could happen to the human body from hypertension and some of them are not even physically related. There have been cases where people have had the symptoms of hypertension and these symptoms caused depression, lack of wanting to eat or sleep, among other types of mental stresses.
